Blackboard Beverage Merchants

INTRODUCTION

Blackboard Beverage Merchant is a beverage wholesaler and a distributor based in New Zealand providing services to hospitality and traditional liquor sectors.  They represent some of the New Zealand top brands as well as international brands that are well recognized all around the world.

THE ASSIGNMENT

Repositioning of the company from the image of small wine distribution company to a much more modern and a bigger corporate company image.

THE  CONCEPTION

Moving away from their old script typeface logo to a much cleaner and timeless aesthetic which is easily recognisable and versatile.

THE SOLUTION

The idea was to create a primary logo for the everyday use and a secondary logo which can be applied when space is limited.  Approach to designing the logo was to create a strong and modern visual identity by using a simple shape, one color, and timeless typeface.
